Suzuki Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 4th, 2016 The marquee name in the Pacific League this week is Teruo Suzuki of the Saitama Seibu Lions. The hot-hitting 21-year-old third baseman put up a .577 average and .621 on-base percentage, piling up 15 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the PL Player of the Week honors. So far this year Suzuki has 16 home runs and a .350 batting average. |
