Koda Collects PL Pitching Award Friday, July 1st, 2016 When Yasujiro Koda takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Saitama Seibu Lions. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 3-1 mark and 1.93 ERA in 5 starts. In 32.2 innings, he fanned 37 and walked 15. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Pacific League. For the season Koda has compiled a 7-4 record with a 3.28 ERA. |
