Tigers Maruyama Sizzles with Cycle Friday, April 15th, 2016 Aki Maruyama of the Hanshin Tigers had an outstanding game against the Dragons. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 5 runs batted in as Hanshin picked up a 17-7 victory at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College. Aki Maruyama hit a three-run home run off Sadao Ikeda in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. This season Maruyama is swinging the bat at a .385 rate with 10 hits in 26 at-bats. To date he has hit 3 home runs, scored 9 runs and driven in 9. |
