Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 7 at-bats. But Teruo Suzuki did just that today for the Lions and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 20-year-old third baseman said after his record-setting performance. Teruo Suzuki flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. |
