Central League Names Top Player Monday, September 14th, 2015 It was announced today that Yokohama right fielder Mokichi Kono has been acclaimed by the Central League as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. Kono posted a .333 batting average as he collected 4 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. This year Kono is batting .301 with 29 home runs. He has scored 77 runs and driven in 106. |
