Shinsui Nakayama out 5 Months With Injury Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters will have to make do without Shinsui Nakayama for 5 months. He suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in the game today against the ORIX Buffaloes. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." For the season Nakayama has compiled a 9-3 record with a 4.20 ERA. |
