Dragons Chill Kato's Hot Streak Friday, July 3rd, 2015 The 29-game hitting streak of 20-year-old center fielder Yasushi Kato came to an end today at Ballpark of Hakui College. The Dragons held him hitless in 3 at-bats and also sent the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters down to defeat 7-2. This year Kato is batting .331 with 79 hits and 14 home runs. He has scored 49 times and has batted in 65 runs. |
