The 26-year-old left fielder was dubbed the Central League Player of the Week for a 4-game tear that saw him hit at a .529 clip. For the week He also chalked up 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this season Kohara is batting .336 with 17 home runs, 41 RBIs and 46 runs scored.
