CL Player of the Week Named Monday, June 8th, 2015 When Hirokazu Matsumoto stepped into the batter's box, he meant business. His outstanding play this week has netted the Hiroshima Toyo first baseman the well-deserved Central League Player of the Week Award. Playing in 4 games he lashed out a .647 average with 11 hits, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Matsumoto has hit at a .374 pace and produced 11 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 27 runs. |
