Miyazaki Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, May 25th, 2015 It was a fantastic week for Chunichi left fielder Kinnosuke Miyazaki and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Central League Player of the Week Award. Last week Miyazaki hammered the ball at a torrid .538 pace, going 7-13 with 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Miyazaki has 14 home runs and a .296 batting average. |
