PL Player of the Week Goes to Tanaka of ORIX Monday, May 25th, 2015 It was a sweet day for Yeijiro Tanaka of the ORIX Buffaloes, who found out he has been named the Pacific League Player of the Week. The Buffaloes right fielder put up a solid .563 average and contributed 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to claim the honors. Tanaka is batting at a .381 pace this season, picking up 32 hits in 84 at-bats with 12 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
