Lions Reliever Kiyomizu Injured Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 The Saitama Seibu Lions announced this afternoon that reliever Kenzaburo Kiyomizu would be out of action for 11 months. He sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament playing the Hawks. It happened throwing a pitch. To this point in the season, Kiyomizu has rung up 1 save in 17 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 7.77 ERA, 1 win and 1 loss and 24 strikeouts in 22 innings. |
