CL Player of the Week Named Monday, April 27th, 2015 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Hiroshima Toyo catcher Ieyoshi Matsuo. He went on a rampage last week against CL hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 21 at-bats for a .429 average while hitting no home runs, driving in 4 runs and scoring 1 run -- numbers quite worthy of the Central League Player of the Week trophy. Matsuo was honored today at a press conference. |
