Sakei Goes on Rampage Against Hawks Saturday, September 27th, 2014 24-year-old Tohoku Rakuten third baseman Totoya Sakei had a big day with the bat at Sailboats Ballpark today against the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. He went 5-for-6 and led the Golden Eagles to a 21-13 triumph over them. Totoya Sakei hit a two-run home run off Kunitaro Okamoto in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. In his 2014 season totals, Sakei has 18 home runs, .316 BA, .451 OBP, 74 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |
