Ikeda Wins PL's Best Bat Award Monday, September 1st, 2014 Motonobu Ikeda really put on a show in August, earning the Batter of the Month Award in the Pacific League! The Chiba Lotte first baseman batted .455 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs, 10 runs scored, along with 12 walks to compile a .622 on-base percentage. Presently Ikeda is batting .287 and has collected 10 home runs, 30 RBIs, .423 OBP and scored 18 runs. |
