July's Best Hurler in PL is Kamida Friday, August 1st, 2014 Tadanobu Kamida was a long shot to make the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks this year, especially being a 36-year-old rookie. Now the Fukuoka SoftBank hurler has parlayed a 4-0 record into the Pacific League Pitcher of the Month award. In July, he chalked up 40 strikeouts in 33 innings and compiled a 1.36 ERA. For the year Kamida has a 10-2 record with a 2.56 ERA in 16 starts. |
