Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Kawai Sunday, May 25th, 2014 ORIX third baseman Masamune Kawai has extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a 1-for-4 day. However, Yomiuri got a 12-1 victory over the Buffaloes at Ballpark of Yamagata College. Masamune Kawai grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. Kawai is hitting .491 this season with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 108 at-bats. |
