Great Week for ORIX's Yosai Aoyama Monday, May 12th, 2014 Yosai Aoyama of the ORIX Buffaloes was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Aoyama put up some great numbers and hauled in the Pacific League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .667 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. The 23-year-old center fielder also scored 7 runs and for the week went 14-21. Aoyama is swinging at a .327 pace on the year with 13 home runs, 42 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 25 games. |
