Tigers Starter Wins CL Pitching Award Monday, July 1st, 2013 Nobuhisa Yamashita certainly found a groove in June. The Hanshin starter posted 4 wins last month to easily claim the Central League Pitcher of the Month. During the month Yamashita was 4-0 with a 0.69 ERA. He made 5 starts, tossed 39 innings and had 42 strikeouts. So far this season Yamashita has compiled a 7-2 record with a 1.39 ERA. |
