Naruhiko Kumagai Captures CL Award Monday, June 17th, 2013 Naruhiko Kumagai went on a week-long batting spree against Central League pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy. The Yokohama center fielder battered the opposition for 8 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. He hit .667 and posted a .750 on-base percentage. So far this year Kumagai is batting .357 with 18 home runs. |
