Victoria-Kelowna Fight Results in Suspensions Monday, May 8th, 2017 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Victoria-Kelowna game at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Capitals Ted Burbidge and the Heat Florian Caron were each issued 3-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. Posting a .266 batting average to date, Burbidge has 14 home runs and 40 RBIs. This year Caron has a 3-7 mark in 14 starts with a 4.44 ERA. He has given up 80 hits in 73 innings, struck out 54 and issued 23 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .273 batting average against him. |
