LBL Awards Best Batter Prize to Hapgood Monday, May 16th, 2016 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Cecil Hapgood was rewarded with the Lester B. Person League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Niagara Stars first baseman hit .407 while collecting 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far this season Hapgood has 20 home runs and a .323 batting average. |
