Poor's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games
Friday, April 29th, 2016
The Heat proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Legends 3-0, but Frank Poor continued his god-like hitting as he collected 2 hits and ran his hitting streak to 20 games.
When asked about his torrid-hitting right fielder, the Kelowna skipper said, "Poor is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."
Poor was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters." Frank Poor doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
For the season Poor has hit .343 with 8 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 22 times.
