Constant Powers 3 HR Against Saskatoon Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015 Lorenzo Constant, the London third baseman, blasted three homers today at Hatchets Ballpark in the Monarchs 11-2 victory against the Saskatoon Legends. For the game, Lorenzo Constant scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Constant, when he reached home plate. In the clubhouse after the game, he gleefully said to the press, "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-3, three roundtrippers and a win. What a day!" This year Constant is batting .324 with 16 home runs. |
