Bang-up Game: Henneberry Slams 3 Homers Friday, May 29th, 2015 Fireworks exploded with regularity in the Outlaws-Monarchs game, but it wasn't a match that set them off -- it was the bat of John Henneberry. He belted 3 home runs in an awesome display of sheer power. In the 22-9 Calgary victory Henneberry stunned the Monarchs pitching staff for 3 hits in 4 at-bats and knocked in 4 runs. After the game, Henneberry said simply, "I saw everything they threw at me. Hitting was a piece of cake today... with lots of extra icing on it." John Henneberry struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Justin Brackett in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Blondel in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Chris Hicken in the 6th and walked in the 8th. This season Henneberry is batting .293 with 51 hits, 24 home runs, 59 RBIs, .378 OBP and has scored 41 runs. |
