Piercey Nabs LBL Weekly Award Monday, May 4th, 2015 It was an extraordinary week for John Piercey of the Niagara Stars. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .571, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Lester B. Person League. Last week Piercey went 8-14, racked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Niagara center fielder. This season Piercey is hitting .418 with 38 hits, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs, scored 25 runs and played in 26 games. |
