Heat Hurler Named LBL's Best Starter Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the Lester B. Person League winner is Kelowna hurler, Frank Wider. For his standout performances in April he has been named the league's best pitcher. During the month, Wider excelled with a 0.20 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 46 innings he struck out 57 and gave up 30 hits and 6 walks. |
