Cyclones Thompson Has 16 Ks Friday, May 18th, 2012 If you can't hit 'em, you can't beat 'em. That was the story today at the Iowa State-Georgia clash at Forney College Grounds. Cyclones twirler Reginald Thompson gunned down 16 Bulldogs via strikeouts and beat them 6-1. In a superb performance he allowed 5 hits and issued 1 walk for the victory. So far this year Thompson has a 3-2 record with a 3.21 ERA. |
