RDL Announces Best Batter Award Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 2017 was an outstanding year for UCLA second baseman Chris Glover and it was capped off today by the announcement that he is the winner of the Rod Dedeaux League Silver Slugger Award. This season Glover compiled a .389 batting average and a .519 on-base percentage. In 47 games he delivered 63 hits, including 5 doubles, no triples and 28 home runs. He finished the year with 60 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |
