Aguilar Hits in 30 Consecutive Games Monday, April 17th, 2017 Auburn could care less about Manuel Aguilar's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Tigers manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak." Well, the Tigers didn't stop Manuel Aguilar today, but they won the game 6-3 over the Demon Deacans. The Wake Forest center fielder was 1-for-4 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 30 games. Manuel Aguilar flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year Aguilar has batted at a .378 pace with 56 hits, 17 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 49 times. |
