"He made it look easy," said the Long Beach State manager, who saw his team fall to the Washington State Cougars, 26-4. "Hats off to him!" Júlio Segura hit a two-run home run off Dustin Robinson in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Segura has compiled a .370 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 21 runs. He has played in 28 games and scored 28 runs. |
