The UCLA second baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploded off his bat all day long. "I don't try to hit homers," he said. "I try to go out there and have good at-bats. If I put a good swing on the ball, then it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one. I just try to have good at-bats." Chris Glover walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jorge López in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Stanley Cornett in the 4th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Bill Robinson in the 9th. This year Glover is batting .429 with 22 home runs and 49 RBIs. |
