Sims on Fire, 6-6 Against Rice Saturday, April 1st, 2017 Ole Miss left fielder Jacob Sims had the hot hand today in the game against the Owls at Toughkenamon College Fields. He scorched Rice pitching for 6 hits and paced the Rebels to a 14-7 victory. Jacob Sims singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Bill Robinson in the 9th. This season Sims is batting at a .292 clip with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
