McIntyre Has Hot Hand, Bangs 6 hits Friday, March 17th, 2017 Getting 6 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Oklahoma State's Bill McIntyre had a very special day against the Cyclones when everything came together for him. He really swung the bat with authority, getting 6 hits in 6 at-bats. However, it was Iowa State that picked up the victory. They topped the Cowboys 9-8 at Forney College Grounds. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," McIntyre said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but the loss kinda put a damper on the day." Disappointed or not, he still gets his name written in the record books. Bill McIntyre hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. So far this year McIntyre is hitting .381 with 1 home run. |
