April's SBL Top Pitcher is Cowboys Ruíz Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 Over the past month Carlos Ruíz has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Skip Bertman League. He proved all that and now he's been named April's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Oklahoma State Cowboys posted 4-1 mark and a 0.20 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 45.1 innings, permitted 24 hits and fanned 66 batters. |
