Hit Streak Now at 25 for Sánchez Saturday, April 30th, 2016 The number just keeps getting higher and higher. Ragin Cajuns left fielder Vicente Sánchez has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it with 2 hits in the Louisiana-Layfayette 12-1 win over the Cougars at Field of the Dukes. Vicente Sánchez doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Abraham Joyce in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year Sánchez has hit .346 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
