Georgia's Hoffman to Miss 5 Months Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 Bulldogs starting pitcher Phil Hoffman was hurt throwing a pitch during today's Buckeyes game and suffered a bone spur in his elbow. He will be laid up about 5 months. Thus far this season, Hoffman has tossed 32 innings in 5 starts, fanned 39 batters, walked 3 and put up a 2.25 ERA with 4 wins and no losses. |
