Wolverines Wilcox Suffers Injury
Tuesday, April 21st, 2015
The Michigan Wolverines learned that Eric Wilcox is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Auburn Tigers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be radial nerve compression. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Michigan manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Eric is back in action."
This season in 13 relief appearances Wilcox has thrown 12.1 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 1-0 with a 15.32 ERA.
