Edwards Removed; Fired by Mississippi State Bulldogs Thursday, June 5th, 2014 The Mississippi State Bulldogs are in need of a manager. They fired Bob Edwards today. Contacted at home by BNN, Edwards admitted that there was some tension over his departure, but that it was "probably for the best." When pressed, Edwards was bullish about his future: We had our ups and we had our downs, but right now I am focusing on the next stage of my career... wherever that may be. I still love the game of baseball and still think I can do the job. The Bulldogs are not the only team in the world." Mississippi State officials gave no word on who the new skipper would be. |
