Such is the case with Tom O'Day, a 20-year-old starter for the North Carolina Tar Heels. In April, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.15 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 39 innings, fanned 49 and held opposing teams to a .154 average. |
