Indiana State's Cook Down with Injury
Monday, May 6th, 2013
The Indiana State Sycamores will have to make do without Tommy Cook for 12 months. He suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in the game today against the North Carolina Tar Heels. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."
This season Cook has a 1-3 record with a 4.25 ERA.
