Alabama Starting Pitcher Hurt Saturday, May 4th, 2013 Alabama fans held their breath as Marc Hayes left yesterday's Sycamores-Crimson Tide contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 20-year-old starting pitcher had suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 11-12 months. So far this year Hayes has 2 wins and 2 losses and a 4.50 ERA. |
