August Herrman League's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 23rd, 2012 The August Herrman League made it official today: Carlos Martínez is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .444 average to take home the trophy. The Penzance catcher went 8-18, drove in 7 runs, scored 5 times and hit 2 home runs. So far this season Martínez is hitting .202 with 2 home runs. |
