AHL Selects Ferguson September's Best Pitcher Sunday, October 1st, 2017 Over the past month Clifford Ferguson has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the August Herrman League. He proved all that and now he's been named September's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Westside Road Warriors posted 4-0 mark and a 0.84 ERA. In 7 starts he tossed 42.2 innings, permitted 23 hits and fanned 75 batters. To date this season Ferguson is 17-4 with 35 starts and an ERA of 3.56 with 263 strikeouts in 182 innings. |
