Watson Brings Home AHL Batter of Month Honor Sunday, October 1st, 2017 When Joe Watson stepped up to the plate in September, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the August Herrman League Batter of the Month award. The young Penzance first baseman posted a .438 batting average with 3 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 16 runs. Watson also worked pitchers for 18 walks to post a .536 on-base percentage. In this current campaign Watson is hitting at a .312 clip with 9 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
