Roman-Tempe Brawl, Vogelsang and Bonnin Suspended Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 At a recent Fascists-Titans contest at The Whig Stadium, Harrie Vogelsang of Roman took exception to what Daniel Bonnin of Tempe said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 5 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." Presently Vogelsang is batting .184 with 83 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 42 runs and scored 50 times. This year Bonnin has registered 10 wins and 17 losses in 40 starts with a 5.42 ERA while registering 158 strikeouts and 79 walks in 214.1 innings. |
