Weston Papenfuss Out 12 Months Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 Medical officials from the Coney Island Cyclones reported that the club's 28-year-old starting pitcher, Weston Papenfuss, suffered a damaged elbow ligament in yesterday's matchup against the Nichols Gnats while throwing a pitch. Papenfuss is expected to miss 12 months of action. This season Papenfuss has gone 4-10 with an ERA of 4.13, posting 127 strikeouts in 124.1 innings. |
