Takeuchi Belts 5 Hits Thursday, August 17th, 2017 Penzance defeated St. Paul today at Saints Ballpark. The highlight of the game was third baseman Hidekazu Takeuchi. His hitting heroics included a 5-7 day, paving the way for a Pirates 14-3 triumph over the Saints. Hidekazu Takeuchi doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. On the year Takeuchi is hitting .204 with 20 hits, no home runs, 9 RBIs, .257 OBP and has scored 14 runs. |
