Player of the Week: Bethesda's Rogers
Monday, August 14th, 2017
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week David Rogers of the Bethesda Hornets reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rogers rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (13-26), 4 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award.
This season in 115 games, Rogers has hit at a .235 clip with 101 hits, 9 home runs, 45 RBIs and 46 runs scored.
