Ojima Cops AHL Batter of the Month Honors Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 Keitaro Ojima is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Palm Beach first baseman joined that select company when the August Herrman League announced the results of July's voting. Ojima totaled 33 hits, 11 walks, 8 home runs, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored last month to put together a .320 batting average and .393 on-base percentage. So far in 2017 Ojima is batting .294 with 21 home runs, 78 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 124 hits in 422 at-bats and a .359 OBP. |
